Adaptation to climate change in Kufstein in Tyrol

Climate change is real and the City of Kufstein is proactively facing up to its effects! Participatory elements are integrated in all steps of the development of the adaptation strategy in order to increase acceptance and cooperation in the implementation of measures. Based on a risk and climate impact analysis, measures for adaptation to the consequences of climate change will be developed together with local representatives. The mayor, community representatives, associations, representatives of committees, administration, fire brigade, etc. are involved in this participatory process.
