Adaptation to the consequences of climate change in the district of Ludwigsburg
Vulnerability assessment and development of pilot measures for the district of Ludwigsburg.
In addition to the description of future climatic conditions through climate parameters such as heavy rainfall or heat days, the vulnerability of the district is determined within the framework of a participatory process. Together with experts from the district administration, exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity to the impacts of climate change are assessed.
Current and planned measures for climate adaptation are coordinated with the administration in order to be able to supplement what is missing in a resource-optimised way.
Finally, about five pilot measures are developed, which enable counteractive climate adaptation. All findings will be incorporated into a strategy for adapting to climate change in the district of Ludwigsburg.
The consultation is funded by the Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy Management Baden-Württemberg within the framework of KLIMOPASS.
