Climate adaptation concept for the town of Hofheim am Taunus

Climate change is a reality and the city of Hofheim am Taunus is proactively meeting the resulting challenges!

In order to put Hofheim in a position to take essential steps and measures at an early stage, the development of a sustainable climate adaptation concept was commissioned.

Local stakeholders (such as the mayor, city councillors, associations, committee members, administration, fire brigade, etc.) are involved both in identifying climate impacts and in determining adaptation capacities and needs. In addition, both existing and new measures are identified and developed.

This participatory approach is a top priority for alpS GmbH, as increasing the acceptance of local stakeholders is essential for us. The concept is being developed in collaboration with our partner office Drees & Sommer.
