Climate and Energy Model Region Vorderland-Feldkirch

The Regional Management Vorderland-Feldkirch (REGIO Vorderland-Feldkirch) has committed itself to climate protection by applying to become a climate and energy model region and thus aims to reduce regional greenhouse gas emissions. In order to develop suitable measures as well as an energy policy model to set the course for future developments in the field of climate protection, alpS GmbH supports the region in the preparation of a regionally adapted, strategic implementation concept. In doing so, fields of action such as the use of renewable energies, sustainable construction and mobility are considered and concrete goals are derived.
The implementation concept, as well as the goals and measures contained therein, are developed in a participatory process in cooperation with the region. On the one hand, the formal requirements of the Climate and Energy Fund are taken into account. On the other hand, previous surveys, such as the research project ERP_hoch3, as well as already existing strategy papers of the region, such as the local development strategy, will be included in the elaboration.
