Climate change adaptation in the municipality of Rankweil

In the context of this assignment, an adaptation strategy will be developed for the municipality of Rankweil. This strategy will be based on the guidelines of the state strategy as well as other guiding principles or strategies of the municipality and supplemented by current scientific findings. In order to increase the acceptance of the implementation of measures, a participatory approach is important, both in the identification of the risk landscape, the regionalisation of climate impacts, but also in the survey of already ongoing measures and the development of new measures. Mayors, municipal representatives, associations, representatives of committees, forest wardens, fire brigades, etc. should be involved in such a participatory process.
