Development of a climate change adaptation concept for the city of Rosenheim
Creating the basis for climate-adapted urban development
The following work steps are set for the development of the climate change adaptation concept: Stocktaking, identification of concrete impacts, elaboration of a municipal overall strategy for climate change adaptation, stakeholder participation, preparation of a catalogue of measures as well as the conception of a consolidation strategy, a controlling concept and a communication strategy. In cooperation with the planning office GeoPlan, this project focuses on recommendations for urban land use planning, the climate-adapted development of residential quarters, commercial and transport areas, open and green spaces, and analysis plans.
This project is funded by the Free State of Bavaria (Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (StMUV)).
