Hydro-Climatic Analysis of the Chakviskali River, Georgia
Eco-flow analyses of the Chakviskali River in the context of the rehabilitation of the Chakvi water treatment plant.

The objective of the project is to conduct a climate risk assessment to determine how the flow and water availability of the Chakviskali River, Georgia for the Chakvi Water Treatment Plant (WTP) may be affected by future climate conditions. The project includes comprehensive hydro-climate impact modelling, including downscaling and bias correction of climate data, hydrological modelling of the climate ensemble and statistical analysis of the results. In addition, a high-level climate assessment of the Mejiniskli wellfield (partially recharged by the Coruh River), which serves as a standby water source, will be carried out.
