Integrated climate impact adaptation concept for the town of Nidderau

Climate change is a reality, and the town of Nidderau is proactively meeting the resulting challenges!
In order to enable Nidderau to take essential steps and measures at an early stage, the development of a sustainable climate impact adaptation concept was commissioned.
Local stakeholders (such as mayors, municipal representatives, associations, committee members, administration, fire brigade, etc.) are involved both in identifying climate impacts and in determining adaptation capacities and needs. In addition, both existing and new measures are identified and developed.
  
 
This participatory approach is a top priority for alpS GmbH, as increasing the acceptance of local stakeholders is essential for us. The concept is being developed in collaboration with our partner office Drees & Sommers.
