Pathways to a shared understanding of climate impacts
Participation in the Climate Resilience Pilot of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)
The OGC's Climate Resilience Pilot '22 is an ongoing series of activities for the preparation and use of climate data. It brings together decision-makers, scientists, data providers, software developers and service providers with the aim of exchanging ideas, taking relevant action to address climate change and making informed decisions on adaptation to climate change.
In this context, alpS brings its experience in adaptation practice with cities, regions and companies. With a structured analysis of one part of the adaptation cycles, namely the climate change vulnerability assessment workshops, successful formats and methods are identified. The aim is to develop a guideline that helps to set up a more controllable process and thus increase the quality of the vulnerability assessment.
