REVISION AND UPDATE OF THE NATIONAL STRATEGY ON ADAPTATION TO CLIMATE CHANGE IN CYPRUS AND SLOVAKIA

The mission of the Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support (DG REFORM) of the European Commission is to provide support for the preparation and implementation of growth-enhancing administrative and structural reforms by mobilising EU funds and technical expertise. Cyprus and Slovakia have requested support from the European Commission under Regulation (EU) 2021/240 establishing a Technical Support Instrument (“TSI Regulation”). The main objective of this contract is to assist national authorities in improving their capacity to design, develop and implement their national climate Change adaptation strategy. The deliverables are expected to result in the following outcomes:

Outcome 1: Adoption of a high-quality updated national climate adaptation strategy in Cyprus;

Outcome 2: Increased capacity of Cypriot public authorities and stakeholders to implement climate adaptation actions;

Outcome 3: Adoption of a high-quality updated national climate adaptation strategy in Slovakia;

Outcome 4: Increased capacity of Slovakian public authorities and stakeholders to implement climate adaptation actions.
