School events as part of the preparation of the climate risk and adaptation concept for Markt Feucht

As part of the climate risk and adaptation concept for the market town of Feucht, a school workshop was held that focussed on the effects of climate change and possible adaptation measures. The pupils were first introduced to the topic and discussed questions about the causes and consequences of climate change. They then collected perceived climate impacts for Feucht and developed ideas for adaptation measures. The results were documented and incorporated into the climate risk and adaptation concept. Markt Feucht plans to involve the students on an ongoing basis and invites them to further environmental council meetings.
